WHEN YOU REALLY WANT YOUR WEIGHT LOSS AND FITNESS PLAN TO WORK THIS TIME!
There is alot of information available regarding tips to help when you are embarking on weightloss and fitness goals. Perhaps you have tried a few times to lose weight and make fitness a priority to then "only lose" your willpower and desire and give up feeling defeated. Here's what I gather might resonate with y'all :)
You are not alone and that is one thing you can use in your favour!
When you are starting a new regiment you would do best to find a “partner” who has the same goals and make each other accountable. It’s amazing how much more we are likely not to want to disappoint someone else by for example, not showing up for our workout. We hate to let others down.
Take time to decide what healthy new habits are doable and suit your lifestyle. It can be more difficult if you are cooking for a family. It would be hard to be on a completely different menu and have to make two separate dinners everyday. It would be easier to look at food quality and portion size and help your family get healthier too by making some small changes. More vegetables (organic when possible) and cutting down on refined carbohydrates (anything with more than one ingredient, yep choose whole food)
MAKE NOTES OF CHANGES
Your body composition will change as you embark on a healthy eating and fitness regiment. It is important to use more than a scale to see progress because as you progress you will be trading voluminous fat for dense muscle so although the scale may not reflect any differences a measuring tape will show lost inches which indicates your body fat is decreasing and your metabolism boosting lean body mass is increasing. SUPER IMPORTANT :)
TRY SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT !
If you have tried running and starving yourself before and it didn’t work or you gave up, don’t use that plan again. You need to try something completely different to not only inspire you but perhaps you will find the thing that will actually work for you :) There is more and more evidence out there on clean eating and how to do it with small changes to make it manageable so you don’t give up. And for something completely different on the exercise front; if you are lucky enough you might have access to the best exercise for the human body……REBOUNDING!
